Company Story
Just before deploying overseas, in 1992, I learned the dreaded C word had hit home. My oldest sister, Robin, had been diagnosed with Cancer. It was overwhelming. How did it happen? Why? Sadly, after 3 different cancer diagnosis and 28 years of fighting she passed on May 25, 2020. Her life and battle left an indelible mark. She served as the inspiration for my journey. A path that lead me here, to my passion... Water.
That inspiration pushed me to obtain a degree in the Environmental Sciences focused on Hazardous Materials. I used that degree for several years working in the environmental field, served as the internal point of contact for environmental matters in a $24 billion dollar organization, and had the honor of being the first ever HazMat Coordinator and a founding member of General Motors Emergency Response Coordinating Team.
Why water? Through my journey, time and again, I tried to answer how it happens. What's causing it?Why does it seem we all know someone with Cancer, Auto-immune issues or other health problems? We all have 3 things basically in common: The food we eat, the air we breathe and the water we consume. Considering our bodies are about 70% water, it seemed a no brainer. And, with the last name Spring, it just seemed destiny.
In 2003, came a forever change, I was recruited by a Water Treatment company as a Water Specialist. I'd found my path. The rub... most of the industry was made up of "water softener guys" and "salesman" many of whom were far from expert in their trade. My daily experience had become cleaning up the messes others left behind and showing people the right way versus the "other guys" off the shelf solutions, one size fits all attitude, and the water chemistry that they either ignored, didn't recognize or were unable to solve. So, came the birth of Spring Interests LLC. The idea was simple... to provide homeowners, commercial and agricultural customers with affordable access to high quality professional environmental knowledge and custom designed sustainable water product technologies to meet their unique water treatment needs. Better doesn't have to cost more, in fact, it will save money, time and problems in the long run.
